European Skydiving Foundation
In 2024 we have established the European Skydiving Foundation not only to organize the symposium every second year, but also to help and support the European skydiving community.
Founder
In 2017, Arek “Maya” Majewski had the idea of bringing skydiving experts to Poland instead of encouraging everyone to go to the USA to learn during conferences.
That’s how the idea of the Skydiving Symposium was born. He organized the first edition in 2018 (exclusively for tandem instructors and cameraflyers, also with only one Speaker – Tom Noonan, UPT). The following year, he decided to organize another conference that would be open to all skydivers and with a few more Speakers.
In 2020 he invited Marta Molinska to join the organization and in 2022 – Kasia Witkowska.
And that’s how our Dream Team was born.
The Board
The President of the Foundation is Arek “Maya” Majewski. The true general and a leader of the Foundation’s objective realization. He’s also responsible for all key decisions and military contacts.
The rest of the Board is:
- Marta Molińska (Sky Camp) who handles various aspects of the European Skydiving Symposium organization: Sponsorships / Agenda / Ambassadors Program / DZ Program / social media / www & mobile app.
- Katarzyna Witkowska, who handles: Polish community management / venue coordination and planning / Speaker coordination / print / audiovisuals and more.
- Iga Kierska, who handles Skydiving Symposium Manifest and smooth operations.
Our mission
Our main goal is to organize the European Skydiving Symposium every 2 years to bring the skydiving community together. We want to educate, learn and unite to start a new season stronger and well prepared.
The statutory objectives of the Foundation include activities in the field of:
increasing the level of safety in skydiving;
assisting and supporting victims of aviation and skydiving accidents;
strengthening national defense;
creating and promoting a positive image of the Foundation’s brand among entrepreneurs and throughout society;
promoting physical culture and sport;
strengthening the prestige and ethos of military service.
